Photographer Erik Johansson takes ordinary things and turns them into strange scenes.

Erik Johansson is a Swedish photographer and visual artist from Prague, Czech Republic. His amazing work creates a surreal world. He mostly works on projects for exhibitions and for himself, as well as projects that people from all over the world have asked him to do.

He goes beyond traditional photography by combining his imagination with the camera lens to capture moments. Erik’s main goal is to fit a lot of story into one picture and make it look as real as possible. He doesn’t care if there are things in the scene that are impossible because all he cares about is finding a way to show the impossible.

Keep going down the page to see for yourself how surprising his work is. In the end, you’d see that Erik’s work has a high level of realism, even though it has a lot of things added to it after the fact. This gallery is the best way to see how he plans his shoots with the help of props and his own creativity. You can use his idea of taking pictures of ideas instead of real scenes. Enjoy!
